67814. A Musical Autobiography Of Bing Crosby. April 21, 1954. AFRTS Station Librry. The project was recorded April 21 to June 16, 1954 and was released commercially December, 1955. Bing sings the tunes that he made famous, starting with his first recording, "Muddy Waters." At one point, Bings refers to the show as an "interminable crooner's cavalcade." For the first one hour, thirty five minutes, the music is supplied by "Buddy Cole and His Trio." Then, Bing announces a larger orchestra will be accompanying him. The credits on the discs become, "Buddy Cole, organ" (although he seems to also play the celeste and piano). Bing conducts a tour of some his more than two thousand recorded tunes.
