Charles Luckman, head of the Citizen's Food Committee asks listeners to consume less bread, meat poultry and eggs. Eat no meat on Tuesday, eat no poultry and eggs on Thursday. Dr. Weinstein warns, "Waste food and people will die." A second reading of the script is halted after a twisted tongue. Charles Luckman, Israel Weinstein (Health Commissioner). 13:16.
