The orchestra starts the program with a eight-minute medley of favorites. Dan Russell, aboard an American Airliner, reports while flying with members of The International Broadcasting Union. David Sarnoff calls the airplane in flight, from his NBC office. Maurice Rombert, the Swiss delegate to the IBU then chats with David Sarnoff while in flight. Guglielmo Marconi speaks from aboard his yacht "Electra," anchored off Genoa. Marconi speaks with Rombert aboard the plane, then Sarnoff adds the French Minister of Communication, flying in another airplane; making a 4-way conversation. Fred Bates introduces the Czechoslovakian Minister of Communications, who speaks to his countrymen (in Czech). Max Jordan introduces the president of Austrian Broadcasting, who speaks in German. The President of Danish Broadcasting speaks in Danish (Flemish?); the president of Italian Broadcasting speaks in Italian. An historic program!
