96155. Atomic Test: Special Report. April 22, 1952. CBS net. Sustaining. Dallas Twonsend reports from Yucca Flats, Nevada. A description of the 15th atomic test in the United States, the 26th nuclear explosion in history. Frank Goss describes how the bomb will be dropped from a B-50. Mice, pigs and apparently U. S. soldiers as well, will take part in the test. "Operation Big Shot" will be an air burst, 3500 feet above the ground. The sound of the explosion is not heard until 42 seconds after detonation.
