Captain Drummond and faithful Denny break up a hijacking gang with one of Drummond's inventions, a paint that changes color! Possibly recorded September 26, 1941. Drummond foils a Nazi plot to murder several blind men near government buildings, and to free a notorious P.O.W. Santos Ortega, Everett Sloane, Himan Brown (producer, director), Lew White (organist). 1/2 hour. Audio condition: Very good. Complete.

16977. Bulldog Drummond. September 21, 1942. Mutual net, WOR, New York aircheck. "The Unknown Death". Sponsored by: Horton's Ice Cream, Cascade Laundry (local), Longines watches (local). Drummond finds a murderer hidden at the circus. A few seconds have been deleted from the middle for disc turnover. Despite a similar plot, this is a different program than cat. #61919. 61920. Bulldog Drummond. July 12, 1943. Mutual net origination, Ziv syndication. "The Subway Murder Case". Commercials added locally. Captain Drummond and Denny meet the amnesiac "Mr. Smith" on a Brooklyn-bound subway. A piece of jade is dropped in Drummond's hand, just before Mr. Smith is knifed in the back and dies quoting Shakespeare! Jackson Beck doubles as a desk clerk in a Bowery flophouse and triples as "Mr. Cooper," who was long thought dead. While investigating the murder of a night watchman on the piers, Captain Drummond is shot! This leads to the sinking of two Nazi submarines! The program ending and system cue have been deleted. 106593. Bulldog Drummond. April 16, 1945. Mutual net. "The Case Of The Double Death". Commercials deleted. Denny's hat and umbrella implicate him in a murder while Drummond is a witness to an execution. The Lido Gang then tries to frame Drummond for murder. Drummond does some framing of his own. 2266. Bulldog Drummond. August 13, 1945. Mutual net. "Help Wanted". Music fill for local commercial insert. Captain Drummond is away doing war work, so his valet Denny hires his own valet and solves a murder by himself. Himan Brown (producer, director). 29:56. Audio condition: Excellent. Complete.

41812. Bulldog Drummond. September 10, 1945. Mutual net. "Murder In The Death House". Sustaining. A convicted killer is knifed to death in his cell, while awaiting execution. A chemical engineer for an explosives company is stopped by a false road barricade and killed by a thrown knife through his neck...or was he? Capt. Drummond and Denny discover a Japanese plot. 47815. Bulldog Drummond. May 20, 1946. Program #11. Mutual net origination, Ziv syndication. "Death Plays The Races". Commercials added locally. Captain Drummond and Denny set out to discover the killer of a jockey. The jockey had asked Drummond for help, but is nevertheless poisoned during the race. Captain Drummond gets involved with a prize-fighter who gets murdered in the ring, poisoned by cyanide! The story may be titled, "The Case Of The Fatal Right." 97. Bulldog Drummond. December 24, 1947. Mutual net. "Murder Leaves A Lonely Trail". Captain Drummond stands in front of a bookstore to get out of the rain. He meets a beautiful blonde and murder. 96205. Bulldog Drummond. March 10, 1948. Mutual net origination, Ziv syndication. "Death Loops The Loop". Commercials added locally. Anthony Wynn, the owner of "Wynn's Wonderland" is found dead at his own amusement park. An oyster bar is really the front for a narcotics dealer. Drummond does an unbelievably complex deduction and escapes death, which even he admits is one chance in 10,000. The date is subject to correction.
