The program takes telephone calls from around the nation and asks listeners elementary questions (if you happen to be from Minnesota). The first contestant is from Rhode Island. He's asked, "Which of the 50 states has the motto, "The North Star." Since the contestant in Rhode Island was listening to WCCO over the air, the purpose of the show was to demonstrate how clear-channel radio can be heard throughout the nation.
