97292. Frequency Record. May 17, 1948. Capitol Records transcription 147A. Tones from 10k to 50 cycles, "specially recorded by the Capitol [transcription] Library Engineering Department." A promotional gift at the 26th N. A. B. (Nationl Association Of Broadcasters) Convention, Los Angeles. The test tones are introduced by Peggy Lee, who slips into a "Manana" accent to introduce 50 cycles! The 10" record is labeled as being recorded at 78.26 rpm. The N. A. B. convention ran from May 17 to the 20th, 1948. The disc was recorded some time previously. Peggy Lee. 3:00. Audio condition: Excellent. Complete.
