A ten round welterweight fight. Don declares this to be a "grudge fight." Cochran, who is in the Navy, is leaving for duty after the match. Cochran is referred to as "Red," "Fred," and "Freddy" during the fight. Interviewed after the fight, Zivic says he going home to shave with a Gillette blade! Cochran urges the purchase of war bonds during his interview after the fight. The fight coverage is complete.
