A beautifully written radio-monologue format as Gene Kelly and others describe what being a soldier is all about. The script won a contest held by the YMCA; it was written by a young man named L.M. Crutchfield of California. He later was known as Les Crutchfield and was a famous radio writer. This is possibly the first script of his that was produced. Matrix #ND6-MM-3875.
