The orchestra plays the overture to Wagner's "Die Meistersinger," the ballet music from "Faust" (Gounod), the intermezzo from "Cavaleria Rusticana" (Mascagni), "The Dance Of The Hours (Ponchielli), the prelude to "La Traviata" (Verdi), and the overture to "William Tell" by Rossini. The orchestra also plays "Suite On American Folk Tunes," writtem and performed by Immanuel Vardi (a member of the orchestra). AFRS program name: "Symphonies Of The World."
