From August 3, 1947: two women talk, with no men present. A funny skit: a tailor is asked to make a zoot suit for a kangaroo! Fooling the show's announcer, an operatic coach evaluates a bathtub singer, a park bench philosopher, a vaudeville booker is asked to get an act to entertain two people, a recording made at Alcoholics Anonymous, a British sailor at a Brooklyn Dodgers-New York Giants game. A portrait of a big time crime reporter in action, as he tries to get a scoop out of Alan Funt! The man behind the counter at a lost-and-found counter, can't seem to find a lost pair of shoes. Two shoeshine boys ask to see a $2 watch in a jewelry store, and then start to sing and dance for the salesman! From January 20, 1948: A shoe salesman "loses" a customer's shoe. From August 15, 1948: A customer at a fruit stand samples too many pieces of fruit. From March 19, 1948: a long bedtime prayer. From December 9, 1948: A moving man is hired to move a trunk that moans (funny!). From May 12, 1948: A legless man chats with a blind man. From January 15, 1948: a man tries to buy perfume with his pockets filled with limburger cheese (funny!) Allen Funt, Bernard Green (music), Joe Graham (director), Raymond Edward Johnson. 30:49.
