The station was dropping its famous pop music format, changing to talk shows. The final two days of the old format is scoped. Dan Ingram opens a bottle of champaign on the air, and the show improves. While Rick James reads the news, the WABC staffers are heard laughing. Ron Lundy and Dan Ingram host the last three hours.
