110047. The General Motors Family Party. November 7, 1927. NBC net. An unidentified soprano and baritone sing, "The Moon and June and You." The 12" 78 rpm record is marked, "Victor Special Record, Second Group #4." "Record of broadcasting." Matrix CVE-40443-1. "The General Motors Family Party" was the first coast-to-coast NBC broadcast on December 25, 1928. That Christmas program featured Marie Kurenko and Marshall Everett as soprano and baritone. They might have also been on this earlier broadcast. The orchestra was conducted by Arthur Pryor on the later program and was possibly the conductor on this broadcast. Marie Kurenko (?), Marshall Everett (?), Arthur Pryor and His Orchestra (?). 3:28. Audio condition: Excellent. Complete as released.
